The head of the GPU called on candidates for the Prosecutor to leave in the past “punitive approaches”.
The public Prosecutor of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko told what the requirements put before the candidates to fill more than 600 positions in local prosecutors ‘ offices.
He said this during a speech at the National Academy of Prosecutor’s office before candidates for positions in the local Prosecutor’s office.
“I would like you to become carriers of the new system… I delegate to you all the rights provided by the law… no One will say “FAS” and not say “stop”. I hope that you will work without calls… Will be guided by the law and national interests,” he said.
Lutsenko also said that normally refers to the honest and decent prosecutors.

The head of the GPU also said that partisanship should not play any difference, and be guided in the investigation of criminal proceedings should only be by law.

Separately, he also noted that equally important is the desire to change the system.
