In Dnipropetrovsk the company “Areclor Mittal Kryvyi Rih” has paid the state more than 72 million UAH for polluted air.

“November 2 PJSC “Arcelor Mittal Kryvyi Rih” has paid to the state 72 119 699 UAH damages caused by excess emissions of polluting substances in atmospheric air without obtaining a permit”, – stated in the message.
Earlier, Dnepropetrovsk economic court of appeal satisfied the appeal of Prosecutor’s office of the region in the interests of the state represented by State environmental inspection in the region, about collecting from the enterprise of these funds.

We will remind, the Prosecutor’s office had determined that a specified industrial plant, violating the requirements of legislation on environmental protection, without obtaining permission, carried out above-standard emissions of polluting substances in atmospheric air, causing damage to the state on that amount.
