Vice President Biden congratulated President Poroshenko on the successful completion of the first phase of electronic Declaration and called it an important step in the fight against corruption in Ukraine. The interlocutors exchanged views on cooperation in the field of energy security.
The President and Vice-President also discussed the situation in the Donbas. Joseph Biden stressed the importance of further sanctions against Russia for failure of the Minsk agreements.
