In Parliament, demand anti-corruption bodies urgently to verify the Declaration of people’s deputies

A group of MPs have appealed to the NEB and NACP for verifying declarations of parliamentarians on the subject of illicit enrichment.
The corresponding request was voiced by the first Vice-speaker of the Parliament Irina Gerashchenko at the session, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“The request of the group of MPs Velickovic, Cooper to the Director of the National anti-corruption Bureau, the head of national Agency concerning prevention of corruption on the conduct promptly a thorough check of declarations of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada on the subject of illicit enrichment and making knowingly false data concerning the origin of the declared funds”, – announced the first Deputy speaker.

Recall, the NAB said that in Ukraine, the first check of e-declarations of MPs, judges and prosecutors. How long will this test is still unknown. It will begin after adoption of the relevant order of the Ministry of justice. Now the draft order, which specifies what and how to check in the declarations, is in the public domain.
Among the MPs who have not submitted time Declaration: Vyacheslav Boguslayev, Anatoliy girshfeld, MP Ihor Shkirya, Yuriy Shukhevych, Maria Matios and two MPs-the fugitives Alexander Onishchenko and Sergey Klyuev.
The first criminal proceedings for illicit enrichment of Ukrainian officials is not expected until January 2017.
