The Council of EU Finance Ministers supported the new proposal.
Today, 8 November, EU Finance Ministers agreed on a new targeted sanctions against Crimean officials because of the occupation of the Peninsula Russia.
About it reports Reuters.
“The Council adopted a new proposal in the framework of the restrictive measures concerning actions that undermine the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – said at a press conference at the end of the meeting of the Council of EU Finance Ministers, Slovakia Finance Minister Peter Kazimir.

151 people and 37 organizations were already hit by visa bans and assets freeze in the EU because of their role in the annexation of Crimea and support of armed conflict, which Russia started in the East of Ukraine.
Recall, the EU sanctions include a ban on imports into the EU of goods from Crimea and Sevastopol; investment in Crimea or Sevastopol; travel services in the Crimea and Sevastopol (in particular, European cruise ships can’t go in the Crimean ports); export of certain goods and technology to Crimea, in particular, in the sphere of transport, telecommunications and energy.
