Security forces have distinguished themselves in the fighting in the Donbas.
Today, 16 November, on the occasion of the Marine corps the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree awarding state awards to 14 members of the 36-th separate brigade of Marines.
About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
Ukrainian security forces was awarded for personal courage shown during the defense of national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and exemplary performance of military duty. They received the order “For courage”, order of Daniel of Galich and the medal “For military service to Ukraine”.

“Presented to the award, Marines distinguished himself in the battle near the villages of Granite, SHIROKANE, Water, Talakivka”, – stated in the message.
Also Poroshenko has signed a decree to award for bravery and professionalism 67 the military. Of them, five servicemen of the Armed Forces and one soldier of the national guard were awarded posthumously.
Among the distinguished military men of 81-th separate airmobile brigade Mat, which is almost a year kept fighting positions near the town of Avdiyivka and the soldiers of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade, who distinguished himself during service in the village of Sands under Donetsk.
The presidential decree also awarded nine members of the 36-th separate brigade of Marines who have shown courage and heroism in the fighting in Mariupol direction.
We will remind, earlier on the occasion of the day of missile troops and artillery of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko noted awards 102 artillery, which carried out tasks in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in the Donbas.
