The politician reminded that the Russian Federation should be required to implement the Minsk agreements.
Alternative to the Minsk agreements – Russia destabilization of Ukraine and the “freezing” of the conflict in the Donbass.
This was stated by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“We all know that the Minsk agreement is the commitment, including political commitments on the part of Russia. We need to force Russia to fulfill at least the fundamental steps. An alternative to the “Minsk” there is a “freeze” and the subsequent destabilization of Russia in Ukraine”, – said Klimkin.
The Minister stressed that the execution or non-execution of the Minsk agreements by the Russian based system of international sanctions against the country.

We will remind, earlier the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. President Barack Obama discussed the importance of maintaining sanctions against Russia, while the Kremlin does not fulfill the Minsk agreement. “We continue to help the Ukrainian people and defend the main principle that countries have the right to determine their own destiny. And we discussed the importance of maintaining the sanctions as long as Russia complied with Minsk agreement”, – said the American President.

The Russian military is still present in the Donbas. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He once again urged Russia to implement the Minsk agreements. And also noted that the ceasefire must be respected, all weapons must be withdrawn, and the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE should provide full access for monitoring.
