Began a visit to the UK delegation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine headed by Yuriy Lutsenko.

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the competent authorities of the United Kingdom, namely the Ministry of foreign Affairs, Ministry of internal Affairs, crown prosecution service and the tax and customs fees.
The purpose of the visit of the delegation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine is to discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation and further institutional support to the Ministry. “The General Prosecutor of Ukraine appreciates the assistance provided by the British side and is provided on the path of reform and hopes for its continuation,” – said Lutsenko.
British side informed about the results of the investigation of relevant criminal proceedings against former high-ranking officials and involved individuals, as well as on the investigation of crimes during the revolution of Dignity.
In the end, views were expressed about the broad collaboration among agencies, including with respect to the execution of requests for international legal assistance and extradition.

Earlier in the Hague took place the meeting of the delegation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, led by Yury Lutsenko and the Prosecutor office of the International criminal court, Bensouda Veil. The delegation discussed the prospects of joint investigation of crimes against participants of peaceful protest on Maidan.
