E-money will be developed on the basis of the national payment system “Prostir”.
The national Bank of Ukraine announces the release of its own electronic currency on the basis of the National payment system “Space.” This was during the briefing said the head of projects and programs of the Department of strategy and reforming of the banking system, the NBU Yulia Lyakh, UNIAN reports.

According to the NBU, the national Bank within the framework of the Cashless economy project evaluates the possibility of creating on the basis of the Ukrainian payment system “Prostir” applying the Blockchain technology is innovative, highly efficient and flexible platform, which will be introduced Ukrainian electronic currency.
According to the Telegraph, the project has already started and will continue until 2020. The first successes can already be seen in 2017.

Note that electronic money is an important concept of e-Commerce and e-governance. For them the necessary infrastructure — computer networks, Internet and electronic payment services. According to Ukrainian legislation, the issue of electronic money can only deal with the national Bank of Ukraine.
