In Minsk plan to discuss the release of the hostages until the New year – Gerashchenko

The meeting will discuss the issue of blocking militants PPC “gold”.

December 7 at the meeting of all four sub-groups and the contact group in Minsk, the Ukrainian side will raise the issue of demilitarization of Crimea and the liberation of the hostages.

This was announced by the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian group for talks in Minsk Irina Gerashchenko on the page in Facebook.

“For Ukraine it is very important that the key themes of the Ministerial meeting was security and humanitarian aspects. We believe that the liberation of hostages to the new year holidays should be a key task of the Minsk group. Kuchma reiterated that the initiative of the Ukrainian side, the question of release of hostages will be considered at HGB 7 Dec as a priority,” she wrote.

“Also at the meeting in Minsk, the Ukrainian side will raise the issue of demilitarization of Debaltsevo – this topic was important and at the Ministerial meeting,” – said Gerashchenko.

In addition, the meeting will discuss the issue of blocking militants PPC “gold”.

Before Gerashchenko stressed that only joint efforts of the President, the security service of the Parliament and with the support of the international community recently managed to release Vladimir Zhemchugova and UN representative Yuri Suprun.

Also Gerashchenko said that Ukraine now are the key projects aimed at the restoration of Donbas infrastructure, social aid to victims of Russian aggression and to strengthen peace in the East of the country.
