The U.S. Congress approved a bill which allocated $ 350 million to help Ukraine

U.S. lawmakers on the $ 50 million increased the amount of aid compared with the year 2016.
The U.S. Congress plans to allocate $ 350 million for military assistance to Ukraine, including lethal weapons.
This is stated on the website of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States.
Both chambers of Congress agreed on a draft budget of the USA in 2017 on defense. The law must be voted by the Senate and House of representatives in the coming days.
As for Ukraine, the draft law extends the list of types of aid by including in it the provision of funds and technical support for the development of an integrated system of monitoring of the state border of Ukraine, as well as assistance in the preparation of staff officers and military high command of the APU.
“The document indicates that in the U.S. Congress high-level bipartisan and bicameral support for Ukraine in fight against Russian aggression”, – noted Ukrainian diplomats.
The Embassy noted that the assistance to Ukraine increased by 50 million dollars compared with the year 2016.
