The attorney General explained that the friction between the two new institutions.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko stated that he had received from the NEB a letter with a request to prosecute the head of the Special anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office of Nazar Golodnitsky.
About this Lutsenko declared on air of the talk show “Right to Vlad,” on channel 1+1.
“Unfortunately, now NABOO’s stopping SAP. I hope that we will be able to help the two respected leaders to work together and give the case to the courts. This is new institutions, new leaders, happen friction. I don’t want to be part of the confrontation,” – said the Prosecutor General.
Recall, September 22 NABOO detectives arrested an employee of the GPU as part of the investigation, which was initiated at the request of the injured party from 1 September 2016. According to investigators, the detainee, the investigator conducted the case of receiving almost 5 million UAH of a bribe the Chairman of one of village councils of Cherkasy region. During the search, the investigator of the GPU, abusing official position, took control, found the coupons for a considerable amount of fuel that belonged to the village Council. The staff of the NEB found that the detainee later used these coupons to refuel a personal vehicle and cars of his wife.
