French diplomats have promised to assist in the release of journalist Sushchenko – lawyer

Ukrainians detained in Moscow on 30 September and accused of espionage.

The process of liberation of the arrested two months ago in Moscow, Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko will join diplomats from France.

This was announced by the Sushchenko lawyer mark Feigin after a visit to Paris, reports “UKRINFORM”.

“This issue really is a matter of great attention of the French side. They are doing it. Forms and results of this work to discuss is premature. But we at least saw the caring and attentive attitude to us – friends, lawyers – as well as to the Novel as a journalist,” – said Feigin.

At a meeting in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of France, Feigin went with his wife Sushchenko.

The lawyer promised to continue consolidating international efforts in support of the Ukrainian journalist for his release.

Earlier in the video the son of Roman Sushchenko Maxim calls those on whom it depends, to release his father.

Roman Sushchenko wrote to French President Francois Hollande a letter of assistance.

Recall, the French correspondent of “UKRINFORM” Roman Sushchenko, violating all international rules, was detained in Moscow on 30 September and accused of espionage, saying that he is an employee of the Main intelligence Directorate of the defense Ministry of Ukraine. In the Gur has denied accusations of the FSB, noting that it was “absolutely untrue”.

Lefortovo court of Moscow extended the arrest of journalist until January 30, 2017.
