In Kiev, some minibuses raised prices for travel around the city.
Rates rose in the suburban buses stop in Kiev, and also in some of the capital, reports “Today”.
Locals complain that the bus №720, which goes from hawthorn to victory Square in Kiev, the city now is 4 UAH, and 5 UAH. Also, the fare rose in the bus №320 (vul. Irpen – str. Khreshchatyk) and No. 192 (metro station “Petrivka” – vul. Miloslavskaya), and now amounts to UAH 5 and UAH 6 respectively.

Commuter carriers explain the rise in cost of fuel and spare parts. In turn, in Kiev say that the prices are adjusted for changes in prices in commuter buses.
“It’s not the new tariffs, which were approved a long time ago. According to the Chairman of the Association “the Carriers of the Kiev region” Alexey Pavlenko, in the near future it is expected even more dramatic increase of tariffs for journey in suburban minibuses, associated with the increase from 1 January the minimum wage to RS 3200.
Recall, “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans next year to boost railway tariffs for cargo transportation by 25% for travel on passenger trains by 35%. The indexing set out in the draft of the financial plan “Ukrzaliznytsi” for 2017, which is already approved in the Ministry of Infrastructure.
