The government has set an allowance of up to 100% of the subsistence minimum.
The Cabinet established an allowance to soldiers of the special operations Forces of the APU.
A corresponding change was made in resolution No. 1294 “About streamlining of structure and conditions of the cash security of servicemen, persons of ordinary and commanding structure and some other persons”.
As noted, an additional allowance equal to 100% of the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons established by law, will include the monthly additional types of cash collateral of the military.
The document also says that the decision is due to the increased risk to life and features during combat (special) tasks that are not typical of other units in the structure of the APU.
The government believes that this should improve social protection and the motivation to passage of military service.
We will remind, earlier the defense Ministry reported that the Ukrainian military has received more than 140 million UAH for participation in the ATO. The families of the dead soldiers APU – ATO members paid 1 billion to 317.5 million hryvnia one-time financial assistance.
