According to “Ukrzaliznytsia”, the state budget received UAH 16 billion.
In “Ukrzaliznytsia” counted billions in profits from the indexation of tariffs for cargo transportation.
About it reported in a press-service of the company.
“Indexation of tariffs for cargo transportation will allow PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in 2017 to send to the state budget by 3 billion UAH more funds”, – stated in the message.
As noted, according to the draft consolidated financial plan to the state Treasury received 16 billion UAH.
However, in the “Ukrzaliznytsia” said that the representatives of the business demand to “freeze” tariffs, increasing prices for the products they supply to the industry.
“In the e-procurement system ProZorro now declared almost 60% of the planned tenders for the purchase of spare parts, equipment for rolling stock, diesel fuel and the like. Refusing to go to the tenders of the railway and to deliver the products at the suggested prices that are generated as a result of the analysis of the company demand a moratorium on change of cost of services for the carriage of goods offered railway”, – said the railroad.
In their view, such an approach will lead to the formation of excess profits from private companies and the huge losses to the state of the carrier, which will also reduce the amount of taxes to the state budget of Ukraine.
Earlier, the “uz” announced the rise in the cost of passenger tickets in 2017. Railway announced the increase of prices in February and in October of the following year.
