The government has allocated money for urgent emergency-restoration works in the Mariinsky Palace

Palace want to protect you from emergencies.

The government has decided to allocate State administration 27,887 million UAH for urgent emergency-restoration works in the Mariinsky Palace.

It is reported by Interfax with reference to the corresponding order of the government.

In particular, funds are allocated to carry out works to prevent emergency situations in the building of the Mariinsky Palace.

The Agency reports that it is on the territory of the Mariinsky Palace the scheduled Grand opening of the song contest “Eurovision-2017”.

Recall the old Mariinsky Palace in the centre of Kyiv could collapse. The Mariinsky Palace is being rapidly destroyed – swagcodes walls, crumbling plaster, the external side of the building off of the brick blocks and bas-relief elements, and balconies can collapse at any moment. Note, the restoration of the monument began in 2007, but did not have enough money. According to the architects, during the laying of engineering communications had violated the integrity of the building, so now the Palace is extremely sensitive to precipitation.
