The foreign Ministry of Ukraine demands from the Russian Federation to immediately stop its illegal actions and to release Vadim is destroyed by her, Muslum Aliyev, Refat Alimova and Arsene Gapparova.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses protest against Russian occupation authorities unlawful involuntary psychiatric examination for the illegally detained citizens of Ukraine.

Ukrainian diplomats are convinced that such practice is torture against illegally detained citizens of Ukraine.

“Thus, the Russian Federation continues to blatantly violate international legal norms in the sphere of protection of human rights, including the Universal Declaration of human rights, the Convention on the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, the Convention against torture and other cruel, inhuman or such that the degrading, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment”, – said on the website of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry.

“We call on the international community to increase pressure on Russia to end the practice of suppression of human rights in the illegally occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, the release of all illegally detained Ukrainian citizens, providing easy access to international organizations and independent human rights defenders from the territory of the Crimean Peninsula to implement objective monitoring of the situation with human rights,” urged the Ukrainian diplomats.

In this respect, Ukraine expects to confirm the international community’s principled assessments of the unacceptability of the practice of human rights violations by the occupation authorities of the Crimea during the vote in the UN General Assembly the draft resolution entitled “Situation of human rights in Crimea and Sevastopol”.
