One night a man robbed at least three cars.
In Kiev, police detained the thiefwho was stealing things from cars.
As reported in the press service of the Kyiv Department of the national police, another incident where a thief got burned, occurred early Sunday morning, December 11, in Darnitskiy district of the capital.
The attention of the thief was attracted by expensive SUV in which he saw personal belongings of the owner.
“The offender has damaged the locks of the car, trying to open the door. And then broke the rear door window and stole personal belongings and wallet,” said the Kyiv police.
The man tried to flee the scene of the crime, but he was noticed and arrested by police, who worked the territory of the district.
The attacker was 25-the summer jobless inhabitant of Kiev region, previously convicted for similar offences.
The man immediately confessed to the crime. He also said that during the night robbed two cars in other areas of Kiev. Among his possessions found a knife and the economic tools with which he broke the locks, or break the glass in cars.
The investigative Department of Darnitsky police Department initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 185 (theft) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
The detainee is checked for involvement in similar crimes in the city.
