The Verkhovna Rada has denied consideration of the resignation of Avakov

Igor Mosiychuk says that the Verkhovna Rada Committee had not even considered the adoption of such a question.

MP Ihor Mosiychuk has denied the statement of his colleague, Igor Lutsenko that the Verkhovna Rada Committee on legislative support of law enforcement will consider a draft resolution on the resignation of the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

Mosiychuk, who is first Deputy Chairman of the Committee, wrote on his page in Facebook that the imposition of such a question was not even considered.

“The imposition of such a question as the resignation of the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov at a meeting of the Committee was not even considered and moreover, do not even know the approximate order of the day, date and time when a meeting of the Committee,” wrote Mosiychuk with reference to the Secretary of the Committee.

We will remind, on December 4 the activists of “Avtomaydan” held a protest action called “АвакOFF” demanding the resignation of the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov. According to the organizers, it was Avakov is responsible for the failure of the certification process of police officers and reforming the National police and the interior Ministry in General.
