Discovered St. Sebastian dates from 1482-1485 years.
French pensioner was found at home a previously unknown drawing by Leonardo da Vinci, which depicts Saint Sebastian, tied to a tree.
The man, whose name was not called, found a picture in a family collection, collected by his father, says Medusa with a link to The New York Times.
That picture really belongs to the hand of Leonardo da Vinci, and confirmed by the independent expert, a specialist in old masters, and curator of the Metropolitan Museum Carmen Bambach, one of the most authoritative experts on the art of the Renaissance, an expert on Italian and Spanish engraving.

The experts found that the pattern was written with the left hand (Leonardo da Vinci was left-handed); furthermore, on the reverse side of the sheet were two small schematic outline of the shadow from the candle labels.

In the Metropolitan Museum in 2003, was presented to two of the eight known drawings of Saint Sebastian-Martyr of the museums of Hamburg and Bayonne. Carmen Bambach said that the authorship of Leonardo indisputable.
