“Of the total number of cases 66.4% of children under the age of 17 years (14 082). Among them are: children aged 5-9 years – 30,6% (4 313 children), 1-4 years – 26,2% (3 688 children), 10-14 years – 27,5% (3 874). In comparison with the similar period of the previous week morbidity among students increased by 50%. Now in connection with absence of more than 20% of students because of influenza and SARS, the leaders of 55 schools took the decision to close schools, and in 26 – the educational process is suspended partially,” he said.

In KGGA reported that during 12 and 13 December in Kyiv medical institutions was 91 hospitalized patients with influenza and SARS, of which 45 children (49.5 percent). During these two days in Kiev was 21 216 patients with influenza and SARS.

Recall, December 13, in Kiev, 37 schools have stopped teaching because of the morbidity of the pupils, and in 16 there was a partial pokladova the closure.
