In Kiev the Prosecutor’s office jointly with the Department of protection of the economy in the city of Kyiv JO National police of Ukraine detained on bribery rector of one of higher educational institutions.
About it reported in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kyiv.
“The official demanded money from a previously expelled student employee of one of the channels, for the restoration studies”, – stated in the message.
During it is investigative-expeditious actions documented the fact of receiving the rector of improper benefits in two stages for a total of 19 000.
At present the malefactor is detained in order St. 208 code of criminal procedure, he is preparing the notice under part 4 St. 368-3 of the criminal code of Ukraine and the petition for election measures of restraint.
We will remind, during receiving a bribe on August 26 , was detained by the acting rector of the National aviation University (NAU) Vladimir Kharchenko. The staff of intelligence service together with a Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office and the National anti-corruption Bureau detained in T. V. the rector and the lawyer in their offices after receiving part of a bribe of 100 thousand euros. In General, during the signing of the order on the appointment of a scientist for a position in the school he demanded 170 thousand euros.
The education Ministry dismissed Kharchenko from the duties of rector. During searches in the house Kharchenko found about 5 million hryvnia, and 9 gold bars.
