In Crimea promise to appeal.
Museums Russia-occupied Crimea to appeal against the decision of the district court of Amsterdam to pass the collection of Scythian gold Kiev.
About this informed the lawyer of the Collegium of advocates “Injurcollegia” Anastasia Sivickaja, RIA Novosti reported.
“The decision to transfer Ukraine comes into force after the proceedings in the court of appeal. The appeal will be filed,” said the lawyer defending the interests of the Crimean museums in this process.
In turn, Reuters reports that when the verdict the court was guided by the fact that Crimea is not a country and cannot claim the right to objects of art. Thus, the decision on who should be returned artifacts must take the Ukrainian court after they will be on the territory of Ukraine.
