The next step will be a speedy decision of the question by the EU Council.
The European Parliament and the EU Council failed to agree on liberalization of visa regime for Georgia.
This was announced by the Rapporteur bezveze for Ukraine and Georgia in the European Parliament Maria Gabriel in his own Twitter.

“The good news: we have reached an agreement with the Council of the EU on liberalization with Georgia! Thus we all strive to make a decision as soon as possible,” wrote Gabriel.

And the official Twitter of the presidency of Slovakia in the EU Council reports that political agreement has been reached between the European Parliament and the Council concerning the visa-free regime with Georgia.
The next step will be a speedy decision of the question by the EU Council.
Recall that the European Parliament plans to adopt a decision on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime as of 1 February 2017. It is stated in the profile of the Ukrainian project.
