In the United States believe that the atrocities must stop.

The US administration has called the worsening situation in Aleppo atrocity by blaming Bashar al-Assad and the countries supporting it, and demands an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian access to civilians.

This was stated by the speaker of the White house Josh Ernest, writes UKRINFORM.

“The Assad regime has demonstrated that they have crossed the line to achieve their goals. And this, obviously, includes the vicious tactics like creating an artificial famine for the innocent civilians, bombing hospitals and children’s playgrounds”, – said the representative of administration of the President of the United States.

He stressed that these atrocities must cease, directing the appeal also to those countries which support the bloody Assad regime.

According to him, official Washington is deeply concerned about the chaos in Aleppo, where the civilian population exterminated by government forces of the Syrian regime “for aiding and abetting the Russian and Iranian sides.”

“The idea that you could strike at the playgrounds in the hope that you can convince people to give up, because you killed their children… What kind of sick mind comes to such a strategy? And what civilized to support this tactic? But that’s what makes Russia”, – said Ernest.

He stressed that the American side “is working hard through various diplomatic channels” to seek a peaceful solution to the situation.
