According to the Committee of voters of Ukraine, most citizens ignored the political power.
In Ukraine on Sunday, 11 December saw the first mass elections of local councils and chapters in 41 of the United territorial community.
As is known, the will can exercise the inhabitants of Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv regions.
The Committee of voters of Ukraine announced the preliminary results of the elections, citing data from independent observers.
In particular, it is reported that most of the United territorial communities will be headed by independents (26 deputies). Among the representatives of the political parties won:
- BPP “Solidarity” – 7 chapters;
- IN “Batkivshchyna” – 3 Chapter;
- “Our land” – 2 chapters;
- DILL – 2 heads;
- “Freedom” – 1 head.
Regarding the number of new members in local authorities – most of the also-nominated (425 members). The total number of deputies from political forces – 422 people, in particular:
- IN “Batkivshchyna” – 104 MP;
- “Our land” – 89 deputies;
- BPP “Solidarity” – 75 deputies;
- DILL – 46 deputies;
- Agrarian party of 39 deputies;
- Radical party of Oleh Lyashko – 29 deputies;
- other parties of 40 deputies.
Recall, October 4 Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman announced in Facebook that the first elections in unified territorial communities will take place in December this year, they will be allocated 30 million UAH.
On 18 December 2016, the Central election Commission appointed local elections in 143 United territorial communities.
