The new Chairman of the Board of “PrivatBank” will be former Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak.
About this on his page in Facebook said the first Deputy head of the Bank Oleg Gorokhovsky.
According to him, Shlapak will form a new team of top managers, but the old team is ready to provide them every support.
Gorokhovsky sure that customers and employees “PrivatBank” will not feel the difference in the Bank: he will continue to work in standard mode.
“With your money on current, Deposit, card accounts of individuals and legal entities, with investments in “Service best attachments” nothing happens. This was a key condition of the talks about the change of ownership,” said Oleg Gorokhovsky.
Oleksandr Shlapak was Finance Minister in the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk from February to December 2014.
In the 90 years Shlapak headed the Lviv branch of “PrivatBank”, was the Director of its Western main branch and zamglavy Bank Sergey Tigipko.
In 1998 Tigipko became Vice-the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Shlapak led a group of his advisers.
After that Oleksandr Shlapak Minister of economy (2001-2002), Deputy head of the national Bank of Ukraine (2003-2005), head of Treasury (2005-2006), the first Deputy head of presidential Secretariat – presidential representative in the Cabinet (2007-2010).
PrivatBank was founded in 1992. Is considered a leader in the banking market of Ukraine. According to a study by GFK Ukraine in the third quarter of 2016, with the Bank cooperate 51.4% of Ukrainians – individuals over the age of 16. With “PrivatBank” cooperate 56.1% of all legal entities in Ukraine, and 33.5 percent consider it their primary Bank. At the same time 69.7% of the entrepreneurs are also collaborating with the Bank, and of 62.3% consider it their primary Bank.
“PrivatBank” is one of the most innovative banks in the world, according to the website of the financial institution. For example, more than 10 years ago, the Bank became one of the first in the world who started to use SMS-disposable passwords. The latest innovation that has received worldwide recognition, are such products as payment mini-terminal, the entrance to Internet banking via QR code, online cash collection, and dozens of various mobile applications.
