The Bank believes that customers and employees won’t feel the difference in the work of the institution.
In “PrivatBank” has agreed to the nationalization after the Bank experienced seven information attacks. Each of these attacks led to outflows of funds of individuals and corporate clients.

“Since the war began, our Bank has experienced seven information attacks. Any other Bank would not have survived any of them. But the latest attack, which started a week ago, was the most severe. Every day we updated the records for the number of funds granted from panicked customers ATMs and branches”, – he wrote.

The first Deputy head of PrivatBank Oleg Gorokhovsky for its part noted that the ATM network in recent days has issued more than 2 billion hryvnia per day. Despite the fact that previous records barely 1.5 billion in peak days.

We will remind, in the evening of 18 December , the government of Ukraine adopted a decision on nationalization of “PrivatBank”. It is assumed that the state represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine will become the owner of 100% shares of the Bank. It ensures smooth functioning of the institution and preservation of the funds of its clients.
“PrivatBank” will be headed by former Finance Minister and one of the top managers of the Bank in the 90-ies Oleksandr Shlapak.
PrivatBank was founded in 1992. Is considered a leader in the banking market of Ukraine. According to a study by GFK Ukraine in the third quarter of 2016, with the Bank cooperate 51.4% of Ukrainians – individuals over the age of 16.
