About establishment of the regime of silence 24 Dec pre-agreed in Minsk.
At the headquarters of ATO confirmed the introduction of a comprehensive, sustainable, indefinite ceasefire from 00:00 on 24 December, as agreed , the participants of the Trilateral contact group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas.
“As of the morning of 24 December the Ukrainian side of the JCCC confirmed the introduction of a comprehensive, sustainable, indefinite ceasefire starting from 00:00 on 24 December 2016. Along the line of contact established silence”, — reported the head of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC, major-General Anatoly Petrenko.

At the same time noted that officers of the Ukrainian side of the Joint center for control and coordination do not stop the monitoring and surveillance of compliance with the silence regime.
Any changes in the situation will be immediately informed the SMM of the OSCE.
Earlier in the headquarters of the ATO warned about the training of militants in the East of provocations to disrupt the truce.
