Poroshenko also stressed that more than ever relevant is the question of the overall ability to recognize and defend its values and interests.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko does not agree with a pessimistic mood regarding the future of the European Union, which today is suggested to Europeans by Russian propagandists.
He stated that during annual meeting with foreign ambassadors accredited in Ukraine, reports of the President.
“The European project has much greater margin of safety than it is imagined in the Kremlin in Ukraine In the European project and values believe sometimes more than even in the United Europe. And how would anyone not want we under no circumstances do not intend to abandon the European integration course. It is obvious that 2017 should be the year of answers to system calls. We are all responsible for what the world, Europe and our future,” the President said.
Poroshenko also stressed that more than ever relevant is the question of the overall ability to recognize and defend its values and interests.
“Now, more than ever, it is important to remember that respect for international law became the engine of democratic modernization, economic prosperity and peace in Europe and the world,” he said.
The President underscored that while at least a meter of our territory is under Russian occupation, all our achievements are under threat – and not only in Ukraine.

Recall that earlier Poroshenko said that Ukraine has strengthened as an Outpost of Europe and the world in the fight against Russian hybrid of venom and aggression.
He added that “attempts to justify Russia’s actions or to take into account their interests is a reconciliation with evil, which will lead to even more tragic consequences.”
