Gontareva told of a dark future for the Ukrainian “daughters” Russian banks

In recent years the share of Russian banks in the Ukrainian market decreased by 1.7 times – from 15% to 8.8%. The head of national Bank Valeria Gontareva hopes that the Russian capital will generally leave the Ukraine.

She told about it in interview ЛИГА.net.

“The banks with Russian capital are well capitalized, even in PIB’s liquidity problems there. But we do not believe that they have a bright future in Ukraine. Their market share has decreased from 15 to 8.8%. If you find buyers for its assets, we will be happy”, – said the head of the NBU.

Gontareva also told about a probable future “labaneh” banks. She called and the approximate timing of the sale of “PrivatBank” and any potential new investor.
