Russia actively pulls the military and smuggling weapons and equipment to the Donbas — Turchynov
In recent years, Russia has intensified the transfer to the occupied territory of Donbass military equipment, weapons and soldiers.
This was stated by Secretary of national security Council and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the NSDC.
“Through the uncontrolled part of the Ukrainian-Russian border from the Russian Federation delivered a large number of military vehicles, tanks, jet systems of volley fire,” he said.

So, the Council noted that military equipment, weapons, ammunition, equipment and lubricants are imported in an organized and planned almost every day “as roads and rail”.
Turchynov noted that only in the last three days from Russia in the Donbass were transferred a significant number of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, MT-LB, MLRS “Grad” and SPGs 2S7 “Pion” (203 mm), 2А36 “Hyacinth” (152 mm).
“Reinforcement hybrid receives Russian troops deployed along the line of demarcation,” — said Turchinov.
