The U.S. Senate approved by a majority vote of the candidacy of Jeff and Roman sessions at the office of the attorney General of the United States. The nomination of a new attorney General was supported by 52 senators, 47 voted against. Moreover, the sessions have received the support of all Republicans and one Democrat in the upper house of the United States.
Before receiving the appointment of attorney General Jeff sessions was the Senator from Alabama. In addition, Sesns credited with derogatory remarks about black workers, support of the Ku Klux Klan, which he categorically denies.
Senator sessions supported the idea of transferring lethal weapons to Ukraine.
He is also known for his tough stance against immigration controls. 30 years ago the Senate rejected the nomination sessions for the post of a Federal judge after he was accused of racism. In particular, it was found that he called one of the black officials “nigger”, and another explained that he needs to be careful when talking to white.
