Trump thanked the President of Lithuania for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty
The President of the United States Donald trump expressed his gratitude to the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite for the support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. It is reported by The Baltic Times.

According to the report, trump on the occasion of the upcoming anniversary of the independent state of Lithuania, congratulated the President a letter and thanked Grybauskaite for the support of Ukraine.
“Your support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and your efforts to increase energy diversification, promotes our common goal of strengthening European and regional security”, – said the President of the United States.

It is also noted that Lithuania has significantly increased its military budget after the Russian annexation of the Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula.
We will remind, earlier held a telephone conversation between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, during which the presidents discussed the settlement of the armed conflict in the Donbas and the ways of finding opportunities after the war. Trump assured the Ukrainian President that the United States will work actively on the issue to restore peace along the border with Russia.
