Depositors of the bankrupt banks will return the money under the new rules
Next week, the Fund of guaranteeing deposits of individuals in the test mode will start the operation of the automated system, through which you will return the money to depositors of failed banks. Now they can choose the Bank through which to receive funds.
However, the system will connect seven banks – “PRAVEX-Bank”, “Alfa-Bank”, “Bank”, “Ukrgasbank”, “PUMB”, “Taskombank” and “Pivdenny”.
“Automated payments system created in order to make as easy as the process of obtaining the guaranteed amount to depositors of insolvent banks. Significantly expanding the network of points of payment due to the fact that the investor can choose to receive funds, offices of the same Bank to which the Fund has written to the registry, and to choose among all agent banks connected to the system. The guarantee Fund is interested in that have joined the system as much as possible the number of banks that will be responsible for a certain agent banks criteria,” the message reads the DGF.
Meanwhile , the NBU started a total review 37 small banks, after which a new possible “collapse” of financial institutions.
