The government proposed to introduce a state of emergency in the energy sector
The solution to the state of emergency in the energy sector may be submitted for consideration by the government in the coming hours.
This was announced by the Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalik during the meeting of Crisis energy headquarters, UNIAN reports.
It is noted that the Cabinet meeting scheduled for tomorrow, February 14.
“We have prepared a decree on the temporary introduction of emergency measures in the electricity market, and we will soon add them to the government”, – he stressed.
The Minister also noted that if not now take the necessary measures, in two weeks Ukraine will face the problem of inability to cover peak loads of the power system.
