NACP will be able to start checking e-declarations, the Ministry of justice registered the order

Monday, February 13, the Ministry of justice of Ukraine registered the order of carrying out the full verification of electronic declarations.

This was announced by the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko.

According to him, now the National Agency for prevention of corruption has a mechanism for verification of electronic declarations and is finally able to start it. The Minister noted that the NACP document is irrelevant.

“It’s a shame that for six months this document NACP was not able to develop, for them, this work had to be performed by the representatives of the established on my initiative and on behalf of the Prime Minister of the working group under the Cabinet. The process took a week”, – he wrote.

Pavel Petrenko said that in the near future the working group will finalize the Procedure of monitoring the lifestyle of officials.

“I want to believe that this will be the last document we are developing is NACP,” – said Petrenko.

Recall that in November last year, the Ministry of justice returned the National Agency for prevention of corruption on dorabotkihave approved this on the “Procedure of conducting monitoring and verification of the Declaration of the person authorized to perform state functions or local self-government and the exercise of monitoring the life of a person authorized to perform state functions or local self-government.” The reason for this decision were numerous comments to the adopted anti-corruption body of the documents.

After that, the Deputy Chairman of the National Agency for prevention of corruption Ruslan Radetsky declared that the Ministry of justice has blocked the work of verification of electronic declarations of Ukrainian officials. He noted that NACP has still not received comments from the Ministry of justice regarding the procedure of verification of declarations.
