In uncontrolled Alchevsk large plant has suspended work due to the blockade in the Donbass
In the uncontrolled part of the Luhansk region stopped Alchevsk metallurgical plant, included in the Corporation “Industrial Union of Donbass” (ISD).
About it reports “Interfax-Ukraine” with reference to representatives of the company.
On 13 February, the plant has completely stopped production of pig iron due to the shortage of iron ore, which was shipped with the mining and processing works “Metinvest”. In AMK said that raw material supply is stopped due to the blocking of the railway.

The interlocutor of the Agency noted that on 12 February the plant had produced about 4.5 thousand tons of iron a day, February 13 – “zero”. He could not say when the company will resume.
