Klimkin did not believe the surprise announcement of the administration of the tramp in the Crimea

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin considers the statements of the White house in relation to the Crimea unexpected.

He stated this in an interview with “Voice of America”.

“They were certainly expected and we all worked hard to get this very strong message,” said the Minister.

According to Klimkin, the same thoughts expressed by the new U.S. representative to the UN at the last meeting of the security Council on the situation in the East of Ukraine. According to the Minister, this shows the consistency of the new U.S. administration.

“What I hear yesterday and today, it is very important in order to build a very practical and very logical picture of how we will continue to work together,” he said.

While Klimkin said that he expects that the United States together with the European Union will press Russia to fully implement the Minsk agreements.

On the eve of a White house spokesman Sean Spicer announcedthat “President trump very clearly gave to understand that he expects the Russian government will implement de-escalation of violence in Ukraine and return the Crimea”.

The next day Donald trump said that Crimea was seized by Russia. He reproached his predecessor, Barack Obama, for “softness”.
