“We were sitting at a table in the kitchen, near the window. Drank tea and a little snack. We talked the whole evening. The attacks became more and more loud and noisy, and the explosions closer. We heard the whistle of the rocket. Elena reassured us that everything is fine. It’s even quieter than usual,” – says the photographer.

“I feel a responsibility and obligation to help. We were with her until the very end. I have to tell this story. Because it’s not about my wound. And about death in war, innocent civilians women,” adds Nunn.
