Lavrov tried to “knock out” a new status for the militants in the Donbas – Klimkin
During a meeting in Normandy format in Munich, Germany’s Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov tried to give a new status to the leaders of the militants, who call themselves leaders of the “DNR” and “LNR”.
“Lavrov called the representatives of the illegal formations authorized representatives. This is the logic of deliberate escalation”, – said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, was quoted by “European truth”.
Klimkin also said that the official recognition by Russia of the documents issued by militants in the occupied territories of Donbass, is evidence of a deliberate escalation of the conflict in the East of Ukraine, both military and humanitarian.
“It (Putin signed a decree) – the logic of deliberate escalation, which passes through the plant. And this logic is not only military but also humanitarian escalation. This decree is absolutely, fundamentally contradicts the logic of the Minsk agreements, and we understand what it’s done,” – said Klimkin.
We will remind, participants of the negotiations said they have agreed to another ceasefire in Donbass for further political negotiations.
