The Ukrainian plan: trump and Flynn didn’t know about the idea of a referendum in Crimea and the lifting of sanctions with Russia – NYT
The President of the United States Donald trump and his former adviser Michael Flynn didn’t know about the plan for the lifting of sanctions against Russia, which was drawn up close to the American President, Michael Cohen and Felix Saerom, and Ukrainian MP Andrey Artemenko.

Cohen left the package with the “plan Artemenko” in the office of Flynn. However, the adviser did not have time to read it as resigned. Cohen and Sather said that didn’t tell Trump about his proposal, because they hoped that their plan will pay attention to trump’s adviser on national security.

In his statement on the dismissal Flynn pointed out that “not fully informed Vice-President Mike Pence and others about his conversations with the Russian Ambassador”.
