Groisman promised electronic exchange of coal in the next heating season.

In the spring the government plans to increase the share of nuclear power to 59% in the system against last year’s 47%. Capacity should grow at the expense of the repair and modernization of reactors. This will partially block the need for coal, supplies of which from ORDO now blocked by the Ukrainian activists.
At the same time, the Ministry of energy recognized that without coal indispensable in the short term will not work. Therefore, the Prime Minister instructed the Minister to establish a national coal exchange. “To autumn, work on it, was already established electronic trading platform for coal. From South Africa, Ukrainian, Polish, other countries – then everything will be clear on pricing. I want to assure the Ukrainian people: we will survive this crisis. Even if it is created by Ukrainian hands,” – said Groisman.
