In Parliament with a Bang and a scandal have failed in the appointment of the auditor for NABOO
23 February during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada are unable to decide on a candidate in the Commission external audit to audit the efficiency of the NEB – a question sent for revision.
At the meeting, MPs considered the draft resolution №5571 of authorship Yegor Sobolev. It proposed to determine a candidate in the Commission of audit NABU American Robert Storch Deputy inspector General of the U.S. Department of justice.
Parliamentarians were outraged that the post claims to be an American. But Sobolev noted that the law does not require citizenship, and other requirements meets Storch.

Suddenly, the Parliament proposed another candidate for the post of auditor” NABU – Nigel brown. He spoke in the Verkhovna Rada, which caused a flurry of indignation. Brown could not say who had proposed his candidacy and was invited to Ukraine.
The head of the Parliament Andrei Parubiy, in return, suggested deputies to vote for both candidates.
“There are two candidates – Robert Storch, who was nominated by the Committee… And the second candidate proposed by the factions. I had a morning conversation with the two chairmen of the factions, where it was clearly stated that offers the Verkhovna Rada. And even if other bills are “on the recommendation of the Committee”, there is no this section is so everyone can nominate, and the Parliament will determine,” he said.

Brown himself said that a large part of his career – to seek the truth, and assumed he was invited because he is “hearing”.
It is noteworthy that neither Storch nor brown has not received support of deputies. For the candidate Storch, which was offered by the Committee, voted 76 deputies, and for the brown – 205. After a re-vote for the candidacy of brown for it gave the voices of the 214 MPs, therefore, the proposal was returned to Committee for revision.
UE says that the nomination of brown agreed with Paruby, the leaders of the faction “people’s front” and “Block of Petro Poroshenko”.
Sobolev said what happened in Parliament, “idiocy”.
Serhiy Leshchenko suggested that in the Parliament there is a plan using the “right” auditor to replace the head of the NABOO, who are not satisfied with the “corrupt leadership of the country.”
The program “Schemes” reported that brown had previously sopraval firm, ISC Global, which worked with the Russian oligarchs.
