Montenegro hopes for NATO membership a few months
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Montenegro Srdjan Darmanovic hopes that his country will become a NATO member at the summit in late may.

According to Darmanovic, he was assured that the Senate will support the entry of Montenegro in the Alliance – both Democrats and Republicans support such a move.
In Montenegro understand that trump wants to achieve breakthroughs in relations with Russia, and especially in the fight against terrorism, the Minister said. He notes that there are no signs that accession of Montenegro to NATO, the U.S. will sacrifice vital national interests.
Earlier media reported that the British government are convinced of Russia’s involvement in the coup attempt in Montenegro. The Russian foreign Ministry, such statements are called an attempt to “raise the noise out of the blue”.
