The GPU was interrogated by the President of the Supreme Court Romaniuk in three cases on the Maidan

In the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine questioned the head of the Supreme court of Ukraine Yaroslav Romaniuk.

He said this during a press conference on Monday, February 27, RBC-Ukraine online reports.

According to him, he was questioned as a witness in three cases.

“During February I also had visited the PGO, where I was interrogated in three criminal cases,” – said Romaniuk.

He noted that he was questioned in the proceedings about the usurpation of power by the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, the shooting of activists on the Maidan in 2014, and in the case of Automaidan.

“These three criminal cases, I was questioned. I was interrogated in the status of witness,” – said Romaniuk.

Earlier it was reported that the crimes against counter protests during Euromaidan declared suspicion 351 person. Of them 48 senior officials at the highest level, more than 200 law enforcement officers. About this on air of the talk show “Right to rule” on channel 1+1 said the head of the Department of special investigations of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Serhiy Gorbatyuk. According to him, the results of the investigation are sent to court indictments against 220 persons. Currently, the convictions in respect of 35 persons.
