Lutsenko: the court allowed the correspondence investigation Klimenko

Goloseevsky district court of Kiev granted permission to hold in absentia proceedings against the former Minister of revenue and duties Alexander Klimenko. About this on his page in Facebook said the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko.

“After 17 hours “procedural” fights and games of hide-and-seek lawyers from the court, only the judge of the court Holoseievski Miroshnichenko, after reviewing more than 30 applications protection granted a permit to hold special pre-trial investigation (where would I be in absentia proceedings) with respect to Alexander Klimenko,” – wrote Lutsenko.

As reported by the attorney General, in the period from April 2012 to September 2013, Oleksandr Klymenko, occupying the post of President of UKRAINE (Ministry of revenues and duties), the composition was created and led by Viktor Yanukovych, a criminal organization, abusing official position, acting from mercenary motives, by implementing developed the criminal plan and the criminal scheme took possession of the means of the state budget of Ukraine totaling UAH 3,166 by illegal compensation of VAT to the accounts of fictitious enterprises, especially large size, which were distributed between members of criminal organizations.

We will remind that on February 23 the Verkhovna Rada adopted in first reading bill No. 5610, which provides the consequence more possibilities of conviction of Viktor Yanukovych and his entourage.

According to Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, this bill will allow for the transfer of the court 119 criminal proceedings against former President Viktor Yanukovych, former interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko, ex-commander of Internal troops Stanislav Shulyak, former head of the SBU Alexander Yakimenko, ex-Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, former Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka, ex-commander of “Golden Eagle” Sergey Kusyuk, the former first Deputy Chairman of SBU Vladimir Totsky and others.
