The foreign Ministers of UK and Poland honored the memory of Heroes of Heavenly hundred

The Minister of foreign Affairs of great Britain, Boris Johnson and his Polish counterpart, Witold Waszczykowski honored the memory of the Heavenly hundred Heroes and laid flowers to the Cross to fallen Maidan protesters in Kiev.

“Honored those who died fighting for their freedom on the Maidan in Kiev in 2014, together with the Polish colleague,” wrote Johnson on his Twitter page.

During a meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, Polish and British Ministers stated that their countries stand side-by-side with Ukraine.

Boris Johnson and Witold Waszczykowski expressed the belief that Russian aggression against Ukraine demands a decisive response, so the pressure on Russia from the international community should be strengthened to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine within internationally recognized borders.

Klimkin thanked them for the solidarity and support of Ukraine. He highlighted the practical help which Britain and Poland provide the training of the Ukrainian military, the Ukrainian treatment of wounded soldiers, as well as in the implementation of systemic socio-economic reforms.
