The GPU and the SBU has conducted over 60 searches in the three areas of activity of the Odessa customs
The GPU together with the SBU has conducted over 60 searches in the territory of the Kiev, Odessa and Lviv regions in criminal proceedings regarding the activity of the Odessa customs of the Public fiscal service of Ukraine.
On it informs a press-service of Prosecutor’s office.
Opened criminal proceedings against officials of the Odessa customs of the Public fiscal service of Ukraine, acting on a prior agreement between themselves, the interests of third parties, in the period from November 2015 to November 2016, may have created the conditions for the implementation of the customs Declaration for the import into the territory of Ukraine of different groups of products at a lower cost.
Illegal activities of officials was the damage state for the sum of about 6.92 million.

We will remind that earlier the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has denied information about the searches in the apartment of the former head of the Odessa customs of Yulia Marushevska.
About it reported a press-the Secretary of GPU Larisa Sargan.
Earlier, the former head of the Odessa customs Yulia Marushevska said that her apartment trying to search the SBU and the GPU. According to the former official, she is abroad and investigative actions are trying to hold while she is in the country.
